Hi, I’m Amanda, the photographer behind Sila Studios and I’m so happy you’re here.
Photography, for me, has never just been about pretty photos. It’s about connection. It’s about the quiet moments, the deep breaths, the laughter you didn’t plan, and the stories that deserve to be remembered exactly as they felt.
How It All Began
I fell in love with photography because it allowed me to freeze time in the most honest way. I studied photography and video, but what truly shaped my work was life itself. Love, growth, heartbreak, healing, motherhood, and learning to see beauty in every season.
Over the years, I’ve photographed weddings, boudoir sessions, couples deeply in love, and women stepping into their confidence. Each experience has reinforced why I do what I do. Every story matters, and every person deserves to feel seen.
My Style & Approach
My style is timeless, moody, emotional, and elegant, but more than that, it’s intentional. I want your images to feel like you. Not stiff. Not forced. Just real.
I’ll guide you when you need it, give you space when you don’t, and create an environment where you can exhale and be yourself. Whether it’s your wedding day, a boudoir session, or a moment of self-empowerment, my goal is for you to feel comfortable, confident, and celebrated.
More Than a Photographer
I’m not just a photographer. I’m an entrepreneur, a creative, a single mom to twins, and a woman who believes deeply in growth and empowerment. I’ve built businesses, led teams, and learned what it means to show up fully, even when it feels scary.
That lived experience shows up in my work. I understand vulnerability. I understand transformation. And I hold space for it in every session.
Why I Do This Work
Photography is powerful. It reminds us who we are, how far we’ve come, and how beautiful our stories truly are. I believe in capturing images that feel like home to you. Images you’ll come back to years from now and still feel something.
This is why I also create women’s empowerment experiences and retreats. Because healing, creativity, and connection go hand in hand.
