How do I book a shoot?
Fill Out the Contact Form located above or find it on the investments tab. Please avoid inquiries via social media it is way easier to keep track of and id hate to lose any messages in my inbox.
Where are you based?
Sila Studios is based in Walkerton Ontario Canada. We service The grey Bruce Area and Surrounding areas.
We can accommodate travel to all over Ontario on a case by case basis. Photography services are also available all over Ontario.
Do you travel?
Travel is available on a case by case basis, we love adventure but due to the state of the world and prior commitments we will do what we can to be there & to make it happen.
Travel is available for New Brunswick as well as i do frequently come there.
What is your turnaround time?
Turn around times can change due to peak seasons and can vary. We strive to emphasize that this is Art and it cannot be rushed; however we want to provide a quick service. Please be a little patient as editing could run slightly longer but we will ensure we stay up to date on the process.
Off Season: January - April (1.5 -2.5 weeks, and up to 2 months for weddings).
Mid Season: May - Mid June (2.5-3.5 weeks Up to 3-3.5 months for weddings).
High Season: Mid June - Mid Nov (3-4 Weeks and up to 4-5 months for Weddings).
Sneak peaks are typically delivered within 48 hours, mini session or boudoir events may take slightly longer and will be mentioned at booking.
Do you Outsource
At this time it is a one man band here at Sila Studios that means Amanda does all the work.
Outsourcing is something we have thought about during higher peak times (wedding season) so we can provide a more efficient service however at this time. we do not.
What Does Sila Studios Mean
Sila Studios was named after many many hours of brainstorming and researching.
"Sila" Stands for Strength in Slovak which came about because of my grandfather who is from Yugoslavia which is one of their languages, this is especially important since he has recently passed and joined heaven so im grateful to have a piece of him in my business.
I chose this carefully to be unique, to represent something more than the service i provide and to be a reflection of myself.
Strength is one of most valuable characteristics we can have and i believe we all are strong and have faced battles. Im here to ensure life is fun, you feel amazing, make life a bit easier and provide you with a simple experience.
